About Me

Hello my name is TJ and I’m proud to be one of your newest bloggers at Moraine Park Technical College. I was born and raised in the Fond du Lac area. I graduated from Fond du Lac High in 2003. I then went on to obtain a one year technical degree in diesel mechanics from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. Along life’s journey I quickly came to realize mechanics wasn’t my passion. I always knew about business as it is in my blood, and I come from a family of entrepreneurs. After being laid off from my most recent mechanic job I enrolled back into college to obtain a business degree. This is my 3rd semester here at MPTC and I’m on track to graduate with a degree in business management/marketing in May 2014.
I still like to wrench, but that’s more of a hobby now. I love the outdoors and going camping, hunting, and fishing. I’m always up to travel to new and exciting places. I’ve been many places across the U.S., but my most favorite place I’ve been to would have to be Yellowstone National Park. In the near future I hope exploring of new and exciting places will lead me to international venues such as; France, Germany, and England.
What I want you to get out of my blog is to hopefully get a better understanding of MPTC through an honest student blog. I’ll tell you like it is and nothing more or nothing less. There is nothing to hide here, MPTC is the real deal. If you want a great way to better yourself educationally, and be involved in your community MPTC is where you need to be.
